Free Live Stream of Koalas @ Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

1960

We nearly lost our Aussie icon during the recent bushfire (remember that?).

As reported -

Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary near Brisbane, Queensland, currently has 15 livestreams running, eight of which are solely focused on its resident koalas.

The koala-ity content includes livestreams of the koala forest, joey enclosure, and the koala cuddle train – so called because the branches in this enclosure are a favourite spot for the koalas to form “cuddle trains” which are literally as cute as they sound.

Plenty of action on the cuddle train cam: The keeper is cleaning the branches. Tree quake!

… And she's done. Go back to sleep.

Fun piece of trivia, old man Peabody loves his pine trees and there were actually 2 on this site before one was knocked over by a car in 1955.

      Agree. Definitely not a deal.

  • Thanks so much O.P. That platypus is super busy!

    • The platypus is great!

  • I have it streaming on the tv, with Spotify playing animal sounds in the background, closest thing the kids will get to the Zoo for a while. Thanks OP.

Oh I’ve found (at least here in Melb) with everything so quiet, the animals are coming back.
The missus pointed out the other day crickets were chirping in the middle of the day! The birds are out in force. Lizards & bees everywhere.

  • Good for house decoration.
    Like a piece of art!
    Haha.
