        And to clarify, it's the original Focus from 2018, not the updated Focus Plus from last year? And it doesn't include hand sensor/controls either?

      Yeah I know it's twice the price but it does so much more.

      This one is obsolete unless you just want videos or very basic apps.

      Yep, said the same thing with the last Focus deal. If you want to just see things in 3D, then sure, I guess the Focus does that well, but if you want to actually interact with things, get a Quest (or PC based headset).

    You're basically paying 290 just to sit there and look at things in VR, if you have a PC you pickup a used rift for like 400 these days, either that or just drop 650 on the quest.

    Either way theyre both far better value than buying this.

      Given that the Quest came out in May last year, is it possible we'll have some new VR tech on the horizon soon? I'm keen having just upgraded my PC, but don't want to buy something that's going to be obsolete and 25% cheaper just a month or two after I bought it.
