Found in a news article:

The Old Clare Hotel in Sydney’s Broadway has gone a step further with an inventive deal that requires no overnight housekeeping from its staff. Its day rates of $75 for a half-day, or double that tariff for a full day, apply to a WFH(otel) deal designed as a sanity break. Overnight options are dubbed Stir Crazy Staycations and include early check-in and late check-out plus treats such as free parking, minibar and French champagne. Like most hotels, The Old Clare is charging no cancellation fees for the foreseeable future.

From the hotel's site:

It’s been a few weeks of heavy blows to all things related to good times. So, if you need to get a ‘social distancing’ approved getaway from your ‘home isolation’, we’ve rounded up a few extras to make your staycation even more easy and comfortable. Including early check-in, 3pm late check-out, free parking, minibar and a half bottle of Tattinger on arrival, it’s a decent step towards feeling better. Plus, the rate is fully cancellable, just in case you need to make a quick change of plans.

We’re taking all COVID-19 precautions seriously, with a range of options to ensure a safe stay. You can read more about what we are doing here.

The package is automatically included for those who book direct and is available on stays up until the 30th of May 2020.

Social distancing in public means people:

    • stay at home unless is absolutely necessary

Can we just try that, otherwise these charts aren't going trend down.

    • Even having the option of half a day stay seems irresponsible in these current circumstances.

Stay comes with a $1,000 on the spot fine for flouting social distancing rules.

  • You can social distance, the only people you see are at check in and you stay far enough away… some people are stuck in homes with lots of kids and dont have any respite. I think this is a great idea
