TAS Frontier Stove for $99 Delivered (RRP $299.95) at Tentworld

100

Description
The heavy-duty Frontier Stove is perfect all of your outdoor cooking needs. Featuring an adjustable door vent and flue damper for complete control over airflow and flame intensity, your tucker will be cooked just the way it should be. A removable stove top section allows for cooking and boiling directly over the open flame to allow for maximum heat transfer, while the simmer pot section allows for gentle heating and simmering.

The TAS Frontier Stove is the perfect compact and lightweight camping stove for your next camping trip. Weighing in at only 9.9kg the compact and lightweight design and carry handle means you can take it anywhere. The stove has an extra large 2.6m chimney to keep the smoke away. For first time use, this unit will produce more smoke than usual to burn off a coating. This is usual on first use.

The large 45 x 25cm cooking service means there is plenty of room for the kettle and a frypan. Also included is a handy tea towel rack. The TAS Frontier Stove really is the perfect cooking or heating companion for your next outdoor adventure.

The Frontier Stove is a popular outfitter product to help warm their tents in winter. Whilst it is not yet normal to install stoves into tents in Australia it is certainly becoming more popular, and an exciting option for many.

EDIT: Note, it appears you can get the same / similar product here delivered for $89 delivered ($10 cheaper!) https://www.4wdsupacentre.com.au/adventure-kings-camp-oven-s…

This guy made his own camp stove from basic materials. The amount of work is quite impressive

    • Looks good!! Another option is to repurpose a 9kg gas bottle to make a chufer/ Bush Pig. Gas refillers will let you have these for free or a couple of bucks and the rest can be welded from scrap metal. The cost is getting the exhaust pipe to keep the smoke out of the way
