I've had the GMH Red blend before (think it was 2014 or 2013 year) I rate it, went great with a traditional Christmas lunch and a slow roasted beef.

    • Hi Cheap and Used. Thanks for the recommendation.
GOOD NEWS - there are two Mixed Cases. One of each of the wines available by the dozen - a sort of virtual tasting pack.
The second is a mixed dozen of the alternate/emerging varietals, the stuff that Geoff pursues in his (very little) spare time, pushing the boundaries of Australian viticulture. Both online at www.tractorshed.com.au
      Thanks for the support :-)

GMH SA Family Selection Red Blend

I grabbed some this last year, for mates who think drinking wine from a bottle is sophisticated.
I ended up drinking a fair bit of it myself, it’s excellent value for money an on par with most $10-$15 bottles.

    • Thanks Supabrudda for the kind words of support - they're much appreciated. Cheers! RD

Hi Rep, Can you provide a couple of your personal recommendations for a mellow, well-balanced and smooth red WITHOUT sharp tannins please?

    • Howdy! Personal favorite is the BY:Geoff Hardy Adelaide Hills Cabernet Sauvignon 2018. I also enjoy the Cabernet Lagrein Teroldego blend but not sure that it would suit your pallet from the description you gave. The straight Adelaide Hills Cabernet though is just such an easy drinker! Enjoy! Cheers! RD :-)
