    Best value? Recommendations?

    • Hi lyork. Happy to help.
Best Value - Virtual Mixed Pack - For those that might not know the wines, a discounted try before you buy option.
      Personal favorites:
BY:Geoff Hardy Adelaide Hills Cabernet Sauvigonon 2018 - Trophy winning, easy drinker, smashable.
BY:Geoff Hardy Adelaide Hills Cabernet Lagrein Teroldego 2016 - Serious wine, will cellar for a few years
Great value drink now - Family Selection Red Blend 2018
      Hope that helps.
      Cheers
      RD :-)

Thanks OP. Jumped in for the virtual mixed dozen so I can sample and then decide what I may want a dozen of.

    • Winner - thanks jollster - I'm sure you'll enjoy. Cheers for the support. RD :-)

  • Im still getting shipping cost even with code

    • Hi Georgia & Cat. You will. Pop the code in at checkout and it will refund it back to you - I promise. Cheers RD :-)

Shipping still shows as $10 for me, but the code then just subtracts a further $10 from the total on top of the 10% discount.

I've ordered from these guys and can highly recommend for quality and value ;-)

    • Thanks Tony! Appreciate the support. Cheers RD :-)

    Any good white to recommend?

That's an easy one for there is only one at this stage! The Geoff Hardy GMH Chardonnay 2019 - a ripper Chardonnay from McLaren Vale. A touch of oak, more modern style. A steal at the price, especially with 10% extra off and free contactless shipping :-)
      Cheers
      RD :-)

Done, just purchased one to try out.

      • What is the shipping window I will be looking at? 1 week or more? Please confirm. Many thanks.

        • Thanks for the support Jouchiyu. It'll be around 5 working days, depending on your location. Given the explosion of online shopping across all industries delivery times are lengthening out a little. But we'll be as quick as we can. Cheers RD :-)

Nice - just bought the GMH SA Meritage 2017. Good to have some cheaper wines lying around for everyday drinking

    thanks

  • Couldn't agree more. We all need mid-week quaffers. Cheers RD :-)

Dan Murphy's has the BY:Geoff Hardy Adelaide Hills Cabernet Sauv ’18 for $150 delivered (compared to your special of $189). I think this is exactly the same wine. I didn't check the other wines on offer.

    Hi Op,
What reds would you recommend for cellaring?

    • Hi PB.
Thanks for the query. Good question.
Lower priced reds: Generally drink now but 3 to 5 years for cellaring will be ok.
Lighter reds i.e. Tempranillo, Nero d'Avola and Tempranillo also 3-5 years but best enjoyed earlier.
More expensive/biggers reds: Drink well now but will cellar for up to 8+ years.
      Hope that helps.
      Cheers RD :-)

Thanks, I ordered two of the virtual dozens. I'm hoping there might be tasting notes.

    Stay safe.

    • Hi Voteoften. Indeed there are. Cheers! RD :-)

Hi op…look like great deals especially with free shipping in these harsh time (take note DM)😝
What do you recommend in the Shiraz line…am think will not get time to cellar…lol
    Thank you.

    • Hi Morris. Just go the Lakeside Shiraz 2018 and smash it! That what it’s there for! Cheers RD :-)

  • Hand Crafted by Geoff Hardy MIXED DOZEN looks like the biggest saving? Over 50-60% off. Virtual dozen is $25 off, where are all the bargain hunters? Ha ha

    • Yes, some good deals for sure. Essentially, wholesale/export prices. Dig in. Contactless delivery and no purchase limits. All with the feel good factor of supporting a small, family business. Win. Win. Cheers RD :-)

Thanks RD - I have never bought a GH wine (and I have bought many) which has caused regret. There are some great bargains here.

Any chance of a comeback for the Clare Valley Riesling?

    • +1

Sorry mate, no. A crowd (and team) favorite but the fruit supplier has their own market for that fruit these days. Was a belting couple of vintages.
We have just loaded up some new wines on the www.tractorshed.com.au website and also some a White Wine Pack at https://www.winesbygeoffhardy.com.au/our-wines/museum-large-…
Hope there might be something of interest in there :-)
      Cheers
      RD
PS The GMH Chardonnay is worth a punt for the price.

      • Yep - thanks RD. Still working through those two vintages of Riesling - wonderful drinking at the moment….

Got the tasting dozen on the way — if you keep the 10% off open for a week or two it will allow us to taste and re-order.

        Thanks for your help!

Hi OP, got the Virtual Mixed Dozen, bargain price at just under $90. If they're good i'll go for the the Hand crafted mixed dozen by the end of the month. Thanks!

    • Hi Tobia. That's great, thanks for that. The Hand Crafted pack is a great mix of styles, red, white, lighter, heavier, drink now, cellaring potential. Winner! Enjoy and thanks again. Cheers! RD :-)

Great deal, ordered 1 virtual mixed dozen and another one delivered to a pal so we can FaceTime and do a wine tasting together. The world we live in.

    • Hi lkdiz! Topidea. And, indeed, mad, crazy times. Hope you enjoy and most importantly, thank you. Stay safe. RD :-)

Has anyone else not received their wine? I’m in Perth. I received an email with tracking information but Australia post says it hasn’t been scanned yet. Not worried about the delay so much as the tracking numbers not being recognised.

    • +1

Mine is being sent by fastway courier. My friend got his mystery box but I am still yet to receive mine (ordered at the same time).
So they are coming just slower than usual.

      • +1

Hi lkdiz. Let's check on that status for you. Please email us at [email protected] or DM me and we'll get an update for you. Cheers RD :-)

        • Thanks so much for your quick reply. I figured I'll wait until COB tomorrow before contacting you guys :) I believe it's in Perth probably just going with the contractor's run tomorrow. Thanks for offering to follow it up anyways!

          • @Ikdiz: Received my order thanks. Can't wait to start trying the wines!

    • +1

Hi Voteoften. We generally despatch within 24 hours direct from the winery in McLaren Vale, SA. Please email us at [email protected] and we'll follow-up for you. The courier companies and Australia Post are taking a little longer with deliveries than usual. They're also not updating scanning/tracking as well as in the pre-COVID era. Please DM, email or call us and we'll look into it for you. Cheers RD :-)

      • +1

Cool. I forwarded to shipping email to that address. Thanks 🙏

        • Thanks. We'll take a look. Cheers RD :-)
