      Think any covid joke is in bad taste. Unless it's taking hte piss at the govt for their efforts in initially dealing with this and letting people off.

      Anything else…bad form. In 4 months it could be someone you know affected seriously by this through no fault of their own and having jokes lobbing about while they are dying or on a mechanical respirator and induced coma in a hospital wouldn't sit well with you either.

      Sorry about the downer. Just think of all the things in this world…a natural disaster isn't anything to joke about. Take the mickey out of people that make conscious decisions that affect them…not for some bloody crazy rogue virus.

  I love a freebie as much as the next person. However, I think it's important to not take these for granted.
  I don't mind paying for extra sides and drinks because at the end of the day, we still have our jobs during this time, and a lot of people don't have theirs. We also need to remember these places that have given out such freebies and support them after this is all over.

    Driving past the Thornbury store you'd often see staff sitting cross legged on the counter they serve from later in the evening on their phones.
    That's a big nope from me for a food venue.
