  pro tip. for books with audible companion, if you download the audio book, even after you cancel kindle unlimited, you can still listen to the audio book (it doesn't get removed from your audible library). if you delete the audio book I'm not sure if you'll get it back though so take care there or if someone knows, let us know

  Had kindle unlimited, sorting the wheat from the chaff was more effort than it was worth. They rarely have books that your friends would be reading. Unlike a music subscription service, the time required to work out if a book is worth reading or not is a lot of effort.

    agreed. the books on unlimited are fairly low tier and you will most likely just end up buying books that you want to read

    Oh boy, just tried the trial - spent 10 minutes Googling how to search in the unlimited collection and it seems the documented method of selecting Kindle Unlimited from the search box has been removed.

    Agree - more effort than it's worth. Unsubbing.

    Not really sure what "Unlimited" refers to other than being able to read from the same limited collection an unlimited number of times.

  Check out the Cradle series if you like fantasy. It's super good.
