      It says "ideal mid-layer" meaning you must wear something over it… it's too ugly to wear as a top layer.

      Ideal social isolation wear… nobody would want to stand next to you if you're wearing this

        I wore down jacket as a mid-layer once, it's not ideal for trekking or other activities, as such jackets don't breathe well. So you stay warm and moist under your layers while it's freezing outside

      800 fill down is actually remarkably high quality, around double what Kathmandu generally does. More like Arcteryx, Mont etc which all are 300-500.

      But that pouch, I can't bring myself to wear.

      It would be great in terms of warmth under a shell jacket for lots of outdoor activities in Australian alpine areas. Clearly the fashion police may still check what you are wearing under the shell jacket but some people may not care at a good price.

    Nearly 2,500 clicks!! Obviously there were many like me that clicked through just to check out the unbelievable ugliness of that thing a little bit further by looking at additional photos - it's like a car wreck - hard to look away! I'm going to laugh hard though if I ever see anyone actually wearing it in public :)
