    • The man without fear

  • +1

    • No Simpsons or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics, unfortunately

  • +11

Remember, if you don't need these, please leave them for other people, no hoarding :p

    • is there meant to be a /s here?

      • +1

        Is a :p not equivalent to a /s?

        • +1

          Suppose it is :P

    • soft copies, also can sold out?

      • +1

        Cannot lah.

  • any thing for phase 5?

  • +4

Damn. I was hoping it'd be full volumes of Snowflake and SafeSpace…

    • +4

SafeSpace was one of my favourite recent story arcs. The way President Orangeman was elected and then the heroes of the world fought against the election results for the ensuing eight years. It was stunning and brave, I am literally shaking typing this.

      • The president is an ape? Who knew? :)

          • +1

@freakatronic: Isn't that true for roughly 50% of Americans every election?

      • I'm pretty sure they were cool with the election results, just not cool with President's actions while in office.

        • +1

President Orangeman has been cast as the very devil since before the beginning of the arc. Or are we not talking about the same story here?

          SafeSpace was a favourite :)

          • @freakatronic: He does like to play the victim for sure. Not really an inspiring quality in a leader.

            • +1

@AlanHB: 100% right sir - it's just like the righteous news media have been saying this whole time. The most evil man on the planet has been trying to kill us all with his evil. And you know it's gotta be true cause they wouldn't put it on the news if it wasn't! Anyway, keep up the fight comrade. One day we will be rid of the wicked and horrible Orangeman and things can go back to the perfect utopia they were before all of this mess. Hashtag notmypresident.

      • Fiction: President Orangeman
        Reality: The Orange President

    • Would need a couple of full volumes just to fit Trailblazer in!

There's also a buy one get one free sale (Code: Marvel2020) on anything released before 1/4.

  • I m looking for the Boys one but it is not for free

    • +3

      The Boys aren't Marvel?

    • Published by Dynamite and goes on sale quite regularly.

  • Anything good for a 7 year old? Some of these comics get pretty dark…

    • +3

      No, not there.
For younger audiences I've used the Bone series. My niece has loved Lumberjane. There is a Marvel series for younger audiences but I don't know if off the top of my head.
Talk to your local comic shop and they can direct you to better comics for young 'uns

      • +2

We've gone through the Batman brave and the Bol, Shazam (Billy Batson) and some superman stuff (Inc pets!) But it's hard to find young kid superhero comica….easier to just go with dog man, captain underpants, treehouse etc..

      • +3

        Bone is amazing for kids.

    • Honestly they're not really. They're significantly better than what I was reading at that age in the late 80's and early 90's.

The Kree/Skrull war book for example is from the late 1960's and certainly from a time where 'comics are for kids'.

    • +3

Someone suggested Bone - while that's great for younger readers, the big positive out of that series is that you'll get just as much out of it as an adult. It's really an 'all ages' comic, funny but also poignant in weird places.

Also try 'Amulet' by Kazu Kibuishi - no spoilers but there is a little bit of dealing with loss at the start, yet it's perfect for younger readers.

My boys also loved 'Mouseguard' by David Peterson, also another great 'all ages' read and a fantastic story as well as art.

Once you download the Comixology App there's another 1000+ free comics inside.

Generally those are single issues. These are volumes.

      • +2

True. Nonetheless here is the link the the other 139 free comics. Click add all to cart in the top right of each section and you're good to go.
Note 1 - most are free to read and not added to cart, so all told you can checkout with 46 items. Note 2 - On top of that there are another 767 free comics listed when you search the Browse button (though only 150 can be added in cart at any one time.)

  • Thanks TA.

Though claiming this reminded me I have accumulated over 100 freebies in the past

  • Thanks for this. As commenters have said, there are hundreds of free comics on Comixology but the ones posted here are the best ones since they are full volumes of series that people will most likely want to read.

  • Can you load up these comics onto a Kobo ? If so, how to do it? Thanks.

Only 116+ votes, for 700+ comics.

12 comics for this post 264+ votes.
12 Marvel Comics > 700 other comics it seems.

    Go figure…

    Thanks OP too.

    • +1

Those are freebies "first issue only". The one posted here are the actual volumes. Btw +1 to that 700+ Comics post regardless. Cheers

      • Thanks. Yeah I saw that it was volumes, I expected to see like a bunch of issues rather than one big book.
I just looked in one, yeah it was all combined.

Note: This is part of a 'Marvel Unlimited' trial. The comics you download will disappear on May 4 (May 5 for us) when the trial ends. Unlike a usual trial, Marvel aren't asking people to sign up or will be charged afterwards but that's technically what this is.
