Warren Miller is famous for producing a movie each year highlighting some of the most extreme and best places to ski on earth. Famous for his commentary this story teller about winter and all thing snow has been the prelude to the start of the snow season and getting everyone excited. Unfortunately after producing over 50 movies he passed away last year however his legacy of producing movies and commentary on all things snow continues on through the fans and friends who make these movies.

As we are approaching Winter 2020 and Covid-19 is likely to put a spanner on the starting date of the season (predictions are for late August at best) what not a better way to relive past seasons by watching these movies at 50% off. The cost is about the same price as a single movie ticket and you get to keep these and watch or share them with friends.

The best deal is all 15 movies on offer (there were more but only the last 15 years is available) for $150 plus $7.95 postage. Otherwise it is $18.75 for each movie plus postage.

I'd warn anyone off paying for any of the more recent 'Warren Miller' films. They are essentially giant commercials produced by Time Warner.

For skiers, check out 'La Liste' on Youtube.
Snowboarders, have a look at Depth Perception. (Although this is a giant ad for CMH).

    • All sports related videos contain massive amounts of advertising. Footy, Soccer, etc all have it.

With Warren’s movies it is narration that makes it a highlight as he spots humor in many mundane aspects of skiing.

More recently Jonny Moseley does the narration now. Not quite the same but still a good watch. Especially when they go off the beaten track to ski/board such as in Gulmarg. They’re helping bring attention to the disadvantaged via snow and winter sports.
