Best 32" (or 31.5), 1440p, 144+hz monitor

Hey guys,

I've spent the last couple of days trying to figure out which is the best 32" (or 31.5), 1440p, 144+hz monitor to buy. Would love a bit of input from ozbargain! There are just so many options these days…

So far I'm looking at
Samsung CHG70
Dell S3220DGF
LG 31.5inch 32GK850F-B
AOC CQ32G2E
ASUS VG32VQ 32"

Most of these are out of stock however. I'll mainly be using the monitor for competitive fps gaming (CS:GO, Overwatch and maybe Valarant once it comes out).

Still trying to decide b/w curved and not.

Any other input would be much appreciated. Cheers!

  • Is 34" an option? There's quite a few that tick your boxes. Also, budget?

    • Would prefer not to get ultra wide 34" as it will mainly be used for gaming at 16:9… Budget is up to 800 but I would like to pay less if possible lol

  • Hey mate, I got the AOC one. CQ32G2E 31.5inch VA Curved 144Hz. It's 1440p 144hz and honestly I love it. I looked up some decent reviews and pulled the trigger when I found it on sale for around 475 I think at JW computers. Definitely would recommend. Bear in mind that to push 144 fps on a 1440p resolution is quite hard, I run a 2070 super with a Ryzen 3700x and can't get 144 fps on games like warzone and pubg on high settings, have to turn it down to medium/low. I think it will be fine for CS:GO maybe Valarant but not sure about overwatch.

  • +1

for competitive TN panels are the go to for pros: https://prosettings.net/cs-go-pro-settings-gear-list/

note a lot of them are playing at 1024x768 240hz lol…

  • Starting to think I'll wait for the new Samsung Odyssey g7, it seems leagues ahead of anything currently on the market!

    • VA is trash for FPS gaming …

I have a VA 144hz 1440p 1ms Gaming monitor and my 1ms 1080p 144hz TN monitor is sooooo much better in FPS

If you must get a 32" Monitor look for an IPS ;) you may need to get an ultrawide.
