Springfree Large Oval Trampoline - Any Promo Codes?

I want to buy my 16mo son the Springfree brand large oval trampoline (https://www.springfreetrampoline.com.au/trampolines/large-ov…). (Yes I know he is young, but for now it is a safe place to play on outside - eg chalk drawing, playing with toys etc - whilst he grows into the jumping element)

It isn’t cheap but the 10 year warranty and it’s excellent safety score has me sold.

However, I just can’t pay full price. Something inside me dies if I pay full price for anything (so the current Covid-19 grocery situation is breaking me! Lol)

I need some kind of deal, even if it is just free delivery or a free accessory (sunshade).

Help please!!!

  • Springfree last forever, (with the exception of the net poles, more on that later), so they're a good buy second hand. They're relatively easy to take apart and reassemble, although there's enough parts that you'd be best served with a station wagon or ute or trailer to move one that doesn't come in original packaging. If i recall, it takes two people about an hour to disassemble one, and you only need a shifting spanner. About 2 hours to reassemble.

The poles that hold the net up have a plastic covering on them, but that can flake off (eventually) and leave the bare fibreglass, which has very bad glass splinters in it. I solved this on my second hand springfree by just wrapping the poles in gaffer tape.

    • Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm not willing to risk second hand due to unknown safety issues. Trampolines are a significant cause of ER visits by children. I still think it is an important rite of passage to have a tramp, but I want to make sure to tick all the possible safety boxes ;) Plus, Springfree's released new models in late 2017 which coincided with their introduction of the 10 year warranty. I wouldn't want to unknowingly buy a pre-2017 model.

  • My parents have one which I played on as a kid. Now my daughter plays on it. Lets just say it was a good investment.

  • May I suggest (in true ozbargain spirit) some less expensive ones…

    • Haven't seen these before. Any OzBargainers have one? What's your opinion if you do?

    • Thanks. I've looked at a few and was close to buying a Vuly, but I just can't go past the superior safety rating of springfree. My son is rather accident prone (gets it from me LOL) so I need to minimise his risk of broken bones as much as possible ;)

Yeah… I could not see myself spending that much to be honest on something she might get bored… Hence we bought this. And we have had no complaints since. Also took it apart when we moved states and reassembled it. Very happy with it

    The promo code is TRAMBOPOLINE.

    • Invalid :(

  • I did have a discount code but it bounced when I tried to use it.

    • Bummer :(
