    I can't agree. I've broken lightning ports and apple saying it's my fault on my previous phones despite no drops, hard knocks etc.
    Might be well built but poorly designed.

        @Elijha: I have heard something similar.
        
        Especially with the heavier (Plus) models and the charging port becoming stressed & breaking due to using this product.

They were $15 in Bundoora OW a few weeks back. Sounds like Apple is going to drop this connector after all .
