25% Off Next Oculus Quest Game via Oculus Mobile App (e.g. Virtual Desktop Was $30.99 Now $23.24)

MOBILE25

25% off full priced games only. Not stackable with existing discounts.

Not many sales on Oculus games. Could be used to grab Virtual Desktop for $23.24 to start playing HL:Alyx on your quest.

Warning to use a card like ING or 28 degrees, as I've noticed they charge in AUD but have a FX fee tacked on…

Could be targetted, but it uses such a generic code. You'd already have the mobile apps if you own an Oculus Quest, but links below anyways for:

Oculus Mobile for iOS

Oculus Mobile for Android

  • Tried a few games and didn’t work for any on my account, not received the email though.

    • Did you try on full-priced games? Or is this targetted.

      • +1

        I tried full price.

        • Ok, probably targetted since I haven't touched my Quest in a while…

          • @ATangk: Only use my one with pc games over virtual desktop.

  • Doesn't work for me either, likely targeted.

Why would you use virtual desktop when you can get a quest link cable for about $30?

    • My graphics card on my computer isn't compatible with Oculus Link but can still play VR games so I use Virtual Desktop to play PCVR on my Quest.

      • You don't have to plug a cable to the graphics card, and don't have to use the $120 official cable. Decent USB3 cable and a USB3 port on your PC is all that's needed.

However wireless still wins for me.

        • Oh I know, however I've got a 300 series AMD card and Oculus Link doesn't support AMD cards before the 400 series. I've tried with a compatible USB3 C cable and all I get is a black screen. So VD is the best option for me.

I've been playing through HL Alyx with VD absolutely flawlessly. Tried a couple of times with a link cable and it was rough. Quite amazing how good VD is - surprised Oculus haven't snapped up the dev yet.

      • Agree at the moment VD is better in many ways over the cable, it shouldn't be that way and perhaps will not be in the future. However having no wires is so nice.

    • I use my Quest in a room on the other side of the house to my computer. It's a huge area and works well.
If I tried to play where my PC is… It definitely wouldn't work in the space.
      Virtual Desktop is amazing.

    • Because I want to play games without a cable getting in the way. That's one of the awesome features of the quest…. Why would you want to play with a cable if you didn't have to?
