A friend is setting up a home office in SE QLD which will be used as a home business and is on the hunt for the following:
PC with Windows 10 (can be purchased separately)
Router (Suggested Asus RT-AC86u)
Duel Monitors
Office 365
Now I'm wondering if anyone based in SEQ (anywhere from Gold Coast up to the Sunshine Coast) can assist as to whether there are any local shops that offer prices similar to Techfast as I've noticed a number of their deals on OzBargain. I'm leaning against going with them directly as one there's no local support and I've noticed numerous reviews around long waiting times and limited communication.
PC (~$800)
Specs are not fixed but I'm thinking roughly:
i5-i7
8-16gb
240gb ssd
mid tier MB
Windows 10 (can purchase separately if budget is too tight)
They don't have the knowledge to assemble themselves so it will need to be built.
Router
Anything better for ~$300 than ASUS - RTAC86u?
Monitors
They are looking for duel monitors with ~27" main and a ~22" secondary but hoping similar in appearance (might be dreaming).
Office 365 - They won't be able to take advantage of Microsoft HUP are there any other discounts on 365 business subscriptions?
what about used PC like those dell optiplex that came with legit windows 10 upgrade
