Hi OP, just curious though if you have any Purina cat food deals? I have not seen them on specials lately. Thanks

    Thanks OP, just ordered!

  • just got a kitten, feeding wet food at the moment and is quite costly..

Get the big boxes of felix when theyre on special at amazon (and use subscribe + save to save a further 10%), thats the most cost-effective (but not terrible) wet food going around.

In the longer run its better for their teeth to have predominantly dry food anyway, though.

    • Kitten didn’t cost lot.. I have 3 Labrador and 1 Maltese, cost over $300 per month, $200 ivory coat, $50 dental product, $40 blackmore joint care chew, $50 pig ear, and treat Product..

      • I can't tell if you're being obnoxious and incapable of being objective or even helpful, or just bragging.

    • If cost is an issue, and believe me I've been there so I can sympathise, then it sounds like you would struggle with vet bills and registration (if you do the right thing). I let a friend adopt my kitten until I was in a better financial position to own a pet.

In saying that, I recommend the Paws Fresh Pet Mince. That's the exact name of it. It's not that terrible mincey stuff, it's chunks of meat. I call it mangled bunny, terrible, I know (although it contains kangaroo, too). Costs around $14. My cat loves it and it's fairly cost effective and offers them exactly what their dietary needs require. A lot of the dry stuff is just filled with grains and by-products. Cats aren't meant to eat grains but there are special dry foods for their dental hygiene.

  • It’s coming up full price

I’d only feed this stuff to your cat if you’re on a tight budget, or you hate your cat.

    • curious, what dry food do you feed your cat?

      • Not my cat, my wife’s cat. And I hate it, but I still insist on not buying this kind of junk. Nothing fancy, just Costco’s Kirkland brand, which is actually made up of decent ingredients and is really good value.

        • I feed my puppy this Purina Supercoat Puppy, he has no problems eating it. Might give the costco pup food a go next time I shop there, thanks.

    • Agree, do not feed poor quality food
