A longer, healthier life starts in the bowl
When dogs eat real food, they get real nutrients, and the health benefits to match.

I've started Lyka on my dog panda just over a month ago, his a senior citizen at almost 16Years of age, poodle cross Lhasa Apso.

Over the years his been eating dry food, nothing fancy.. I wanted to give him a change into the good stuff!

That's where I came across Lyka, it's a subscription based, items are sent to your door in a refrigerated delivery truck, insulated in the box to keep cold for upto 8hrs,

They ask all sorts of questions prior to working out a food plan for your pooch!

My dog is a fussy eater, but can confirm he loves the Turkey!

You can pick from many different proteins, beef, chicken, kangaroo, turkey, lamb

  • Can you post a deal for referrals? You aren't promoting your own so it's fine???

    • Completely understand, I've not shared any specific code, simply use the generated ones by members at the bottom of the post.

      • Just didn't know if it was against the rules.

    • Per the help at the bottom of the page:

Deal Posting Guidelines: Affiliate & Referral Links:

Can I post a deal for the Referral offer itself?

You may post a referral offer as a deal (e.g., “Sign up with referral code for $10 credit”) if:

The referee also receives a benefit (e.g. credit or discount).
No active deal exists for that offer.

      • Ok. Just wanted to check.

        Cheers for the clarification!

Nah this stuff is insanely overpriced garbage.

100%… over $200 a month for this is a joke.

Moved on raw diet for my dog at one third of this and he never felt better…

      • Yup I get chicken 10kg for 10 bucks from the local butcher.
The greyhound goes crazy for it.
Mix in some kibble and he is a happy boi

        • Blimey, what sort of chicken is this for $10 for 10kg.

@jollster101: It’s all the off cuts, heart, liver etc.

            • @Far Cough: Just a heads up, be careful giving too much liver to your dog, I read it's dangerous and can cause problems. My dog used to poop blood when I was giving him liver every week.

    so how much is this?

The reason you don't show pricing is because you're embarrassed by it.

we just mix mince, frozen veg, oats/rice, roll it into a balls & freeze, pop one in the fridge every night too defrost and serve the next night with a sardine on top. If pumpkin is cheap, cut it up & pop it in the freezer, it goes soft when defrosted, so you don't need to cook it. we also give them broccoli & cauliflower stems, carrot ends.

before the grains are bad crowd turn up, that's pet food marketing guff.

    • The reason you don't show pricing is because you're embarrassed by it.

That seems like a bit aggressive and a massive assumption

I agree that Lyka is expensive but the pricing is dependent on how much food you are buying which is based on the dogs age and size. So OP probably couldn't give you a price.

If you can do it yourself, like you do, then that is definitely the cheaper option

      • That seems like a bit aggressive and a massive assumption

not aggressive. Just an observation which turns out to be true in jist about every case (I can't think of an example that wasn't) and you go on to say

I agree that Lyka is expensive

so proves my observation again. WTF do I have to jump through hoops to get a price? Because they clever marketing kiddies think they can use some sort of psychology to convince me to pay over the top for something.

Our dog loves lyka and it seems to keep her poops very healthy, I'm pretty sure her diet is better than mine.

But damn is it expensive, and it's gone up

  • this is a very long-running promo, I've used a few times with my friends.. good to post here tho.

I like giving lyka to my dog, but only when I can buy with the 50% off, it's way too expensive, I agree, but he likes it and does very well eating it.

I do mix steamed pumpkin and carrots to make it cheaper and healthier. I also cook some chicken liver once a week for some organ meat nutrients.
