TM Lewin - No Service?

About 4 weeks ago, I purchased some TM Lewin shirts, my first purchase from them.

Delivery was slow, understandable given flight schedule changes and less cargo capabilities.

When I received the box, it had my address on the Australia Post sticker, but someone elses address on another sticker elsewhere on the box. I thought it odd, but hey they had my address, so I openeed it. They werewen't my shirts, and the invoice was to the second address on the box.

No problem, I email the [email protected] address. After 3 business days, no response - not even a ticket acknowledging the issue. I tweet to their @tmlewinhelp handle. No response.

Now I understand the UK is shut down, but you'd think an Internet business would be equipped to work remotely, especially when they are still sending out promotion emails and running sales on their website.

My advice - don't buy from TM Lewin at the current point in time…. and potentially anytime in the future if this is their service capability.

PS - If Anyone knows a Mr (name removed) in Hillarys, WA, tell him I have his shirts. (Edit - found him)

    Have you seen the news about what's been happening around the world and what it's doing to a lot of companies? Three business days isn't even that long.

    My advice - don't buy from TM Lewin at the current point in time…. and potentially anytime in the future if this is their service capability.

    The coronavirus isn't an excuse for everything that goes wrong, but feel free to cut people and companies some slack instead of making these types of posts. Things can go wrong even during the best of times!

      I acknowledged the issue, but also said they are an Internet business, so they shouldn't be tied to an office.

      Secondly, they are still sending out promotional emails, and their help website suggests business as usual for deliveries and help.

        You may "acknowledge the issue", but you're also urging the community to avoid doing business with the company.

        You think that the shirts are made on the run? That they're able to just move the entire company and equipment at a moment's notice?

        These types of things are usually contracted out to external companies to handle and agreed on way before they're issued. Reality is, the situation everywhere is quite fluid and things are changing every day.

        PS. I have no affiliation with the company and I've never had any dealings with them.

  • I ordered some shirts from them on the 19th of March. By the 2nd of April I hadn't got any update, so I sent an email to their customer service. They replied on the 4th saying it should arrive by the 20th of April, and if it doesn't get back in touch.
    My products arrived a few days later and in full, but compared to previous orders with them it was definitely affected.

  • Same, I made an order on March 24 and still haven't received it.

  • I ordered 5 shirts 21/3 and picked up from a AusPost parcel locker in Perth on 6/4. A little slower than usual but given the situation thought it was pretty good. 🙂

  • Use the "Live Chat" option on their website (note the time you can use it). I got on to them last night, with no delays.

  • OP: I have the same problem. Not too fussed because it was 1 shirt for $20. I'll give it another week or so then might get in touch.

  • My order from 19/3/20 hasn't arrived

  • My order for shirts from the 24/3/20 also hasn't arrived. No shipping info since it was initially shipped.

    I have asked for my order to be cancelled.

  • Has anyone received a refund or had their order delivered after comments?

  • I had 3 orders recently, first 2 was made in early April with no tracking, still not arrived.

    3rd order was made in late April with tracking, this one arrived ealier this week.

    I asked customer service they replied need to wait 40 business days before they consider it lost in transit.
