I think some sort of mistake or pricing error here. Dans is $34 each and rarely see it under $30.
Also not a Jacobs Creek brand/label, this is St Hugo by St Hugo and has been for many good decades.

The promotion is definitely not an error and also available Vic and NSW, in addition to WA. It is part of 3 for $30 in NSW and Victoria and is only available in store. You can also mix with other decent drops ie Torbreck Woodcutter Shiraz, Taylor’s Jarrahman Cabernet and Penfolds Max’s Cabernet and Shiraz. There are several others available, worth dropping into your local liquorland. Happy hunting ozbargainers! I picked some up at Spearwood. Friends confirmed deals at Southern River, Garden City, Kardinya and Southlands but shelves cleaned out already.

Just went to a LL and whilst there was no St Hugo, there were a heap of others in the same sale. The shelf was empty for a lot of them, but there's definitely some good deals there.
Yeah it's across a wide range. I was at East Vic Park, WA. I picked up some Vasse Felix Filus Cab Merlot (usually ~$23 a bottle) and Cape Mentelle Trinder Cab Merlot (~$25). St Hugo and Tobreck Woodcutter's sold out at the time, they weren't sure as to any more stock incoming. Apparently has been going for a week or so.

I used to be the manager at the Chappel St Phrahram Liquorland store diagonally opposite the
Origanal Dan Murphies Store in Melbourne and had to go in there with notepad to get their prices

can confirm the deal is available in NSW. Part of a mix and match for 3x $36 although no St Hugo’s left in Penrith (lots of other nice wines available)
Unlikely to be any St Hugo left in the east of Sydney as they were cleared out in the stores I called, still plenty of $20-25 bottles remaining in Randwick.

Tried my local in Sydney (which i rarely shop at). Heaps of the cheaper deals, lots of Penfolds Max and Jarraman. I scored 4 x Torbreck Woodcutters Shiraz for $40, and despite the attendant saying there was no St Hugo left, I managed to find a sneaky 6 pack in a stack of wine in the corner of the store. 10 bottles of decent quaffers for $100 bargain. Might check out some more LL in Syd tomorrow.

Got 1 hugo at liquorland with some pepperjack and others. I tried dans they went all detective mode and called the local LL. Said no stock left so cant price match something thats not available. Fkrrs.
Just got my First Choice to match and sell me 3 St Hugos for 36, my local dan's wouldn't do it. Will try go to my local LLs after work tomorrow.

I rang 6-7 stores, SA is out! The only chance if there's any restock next week from the distribution Warehouse. They're clearing it out, I was told by the guy who works at the store. It's not store clearance, it's warehouse clearance so there might be restock for some items next week.
Spoke to another lovely bloke, there’s been an email sent from head office certain wines are no longer part of the 4 for $40. Max’s Shiraz is one of them.

It's in store only. Any wine that's ticketed as the 3 for $36 deal is marked, and can mix any of those up in store,
and can also get any of those wines at an even better price of 4 for $40, so then really winning.

Went into liquorland today and was told that having taylors jaraman, torbreck woodcutters and penfolds maxs as part of the four for $40 was an error and they've now been taken off the deal. Damn shame was keen for some more

Besides St-Hugo & Mentelle that is out of stock at 2 local LL stores, almost all other wines are available at Liquor Choice for $12 a bottle.
Plus Liquor Choice refused to price match the St Hugo as it’s a $40 bottle (supposedly LL told them it’s not part of the deal!!).
Well, that saves me some bucks as I won’t be setting a foot in neither shops again.
Still got a match at Dans for the St Hugo … lucky me.
A few good value choices at LL still but the best stuff either gone or withdrawn from the deal.
Managed to score 4 St Hugo @ $12 each this morning in Townsville. Scanned at $40 each but they still had the 3 for $36 tag on the shelf so had to honor it.
Just got DM to price beat so picked up 3 for $34.50. Really painless experience which was a nice change from most lrice beat experiences
If you get lucky, you can still get some DM stores to price beat this.
All up I've bought 30 bottles, price beat at $11ea and paid with discounted wish GC. Saved nearly $900.
Family in NSW also bought 24 & 30 bottles each…
I've also been rejected at a few stores who said it was either a price error and no longer valid or said it was clearance so not matched.
YMMV but I've cleaned up, so I'm damn happy.

The deal lasted less than 1 week from the 24th despite the tag in the picture showing that date range. You must be a very convincing individual for them to not even check stock or question it. Well done and enjoy. I grabbed 4 bottles myself however I thought the torbreck was a better buy to my taste as I'm more of a Shiraz drinker.

Like I said, I also got rejected at a couple of stores (in VIC) but my family in NSW also did multiple successful transactions (and a couple of rejections too). Success varies store to store.
I also got half a dozen Torbreck from LL which is a great drop (!), as is the St Hugo. Shiraz and cab sav person here…
