  • 64GB for 79.95? I don't think so. FAKE.

EDIT: OK maybe I jumped the gun a little there. Never heard of this brand though.

    • Yeah, I recon you did…

Zazz has always been a very reputable company. I sure they would have check out the brand so I wouldn't worry too much about that and I know they always test their stock so you can have confidence they will be legit.

      IMO anyway.

    • nothing H2testw can't tell. I'm sure Zazz will refund if you find it's fake

These look a lot like these

      Could even be rebadged kingstons

pretty sure the mymemory 32gb is a better deal

    http://www.mymemory.co.uk/SDHC/MyMemory/MyMemory-32GB-SD-Car…

ive got one, its as fast as they say as it is & is fast… many others report this. plus delivery is cheap (but slow)

  • FAKES… Did a search of the labels 94110-925.A00LF 20456871. The consensus on the internet seems to be that they are fake SD Cards which report as being "16GB" (or 32GB or 64GB) but it is only writable for the first 512MB-1GB before it starts dumping data.

It is a real shame because I am looking for a high performance SD card at the moment. Has anyone got any suggestions?

    • mobileciti.com.au have sandisks at really good prices. class 10, you could also try your luck at price beating them at OW or HN.

HN say mobileciti sell import stock though, whereas mobileciti says they only sell austrlaian. HN says that to avoid price matching as it almost less than half the price of there overpriced stock.

ive successfully price matched at both OW and HN. although HN took abit of arguing to get it.

Did it ever occur to you that they might be stock images?
I find it hard to believe Zazz would sell dodgy cards.

I couldn't find anything conclusive on the net. Did you see anything beyond general consensus?

      • I'll take that as a no then…

      • +2

Correct Will we would not sell dodgy cards and as always we will always stand by our products if you do have any faults… To give you an indication guys we had 0.02% return rate on the last lot sold. Not sure what more you can ask for???

    • 2 years ago i won 16 gb sd card for $20 only, the seller claim class 6, try on my video camera, it wasn't detected. the seller happy to refund as long as i return the sdcard back to hk. which is bs. since then, better buy on the shop for this thing or reputable online shop that offer free return if it was fake.

imagine it took 1 hr to transfer 8gb file and the next day, you can't read that file, which is corrupted. amazing

    • Few months ago I purchased Patriot class 10 16GB SD card from MSY around $15. They had that card on special for one day.

      • +1

I always queue up for 30 minutes or more to find the list of stuffs I wanted to get are out of stock.

        • Best is to call MSY and place the items on hold. Thats what I did for the memory card.

Please view tests here mate can 100% assure you these are not fake cards…

prices are the same as they were around june, with a fair bit of negative comments too

    • Strange, but both time the deal was posted by users as their first post.

      • Maybe it's his first post, but with 250 comments I think it's safe to assume he's not a sockpuppet. I don't think zazz would sell fake stock either, thats not the usual practice of reputable online companies. Thats mostly a trick used by dodgy eBay sellers.

        • yes true. On the lighter side, both of them had many comments posted before the deal :)

        • No ones got their hand up my butt…

I guess there's no way to actually prove I'm not sockpuppeting right? I'd be happy to comply if there is.

        • +1

No this guy is no sockpuppet. Of all tbe places he chooses to live, it had to canberra didn't it? Lol

        • Choose is a very strong word…

haven't tested the speed or anything but it seems to work great.

    • Yup I was just about to post this as well - mine is currently in the mail, so I can't say how good/bad it is though.

  • Why are there never 8 gb on sales?

  • +1

The transend's I have from MM are quite fast, the Class 10 MM brand 32gb I received from them was more like a class 4

  • +1

I got this deal from BH Photo as I was already ordering from them:
    http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/816240-REG/SanDisk_16G…
Didn't add anything to shipping in my case but would be $30 for shipping on it's own which kills it a bit.

This one is probably still a good deal though, even with the $30 postage, if you are keen on 32GB cards:
    http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/684217-REG/SanDisk_32G…

At least from B&H you are guaranteed genuine Class 10 Sandisk cards.

  • i bought these cards before on ebay (class 6) don't waste your money coz they don't last. images are corrupted, lost a lot of my universal studios and hollywood photos with these cards!

  • +1

Always better to spend a little bit more on a reputable and reliable brand flash card rather than risk losing your photos or important files when a cheap dodgy one randomly corrupts.

Guys appreciate the sentiment and I understand many of you have had issues with non branded SD cards but these are not Ebay cards and are 100% legit. Can you imagine the returns we would have had last time if they were fakes?

Can I neg the product for being on a website with a shitty forum where everyone says hi/buy/goodnight every f#$%%^ time a new post is made ?

    http://www.zazz.com.au/Forum/viewtopic.php?t=4109

    • zazz has a good community of people in the forums and they feel close and like they know each other. I think they started separating the forums into one with comments only related to the product to avoid the "chit chat".
I have bought lots of items from zazz before but lately the items they sell is not interesting anymore.

    • Are you kidding me? Start being more like the honey badger, don't give a shit and take what you want.
