The Beach Club Collaroy is offering refills of craft beers on tap. (please scroll down to edit for a tap list of crafts available)

This came across my FB so I havent actually been to the pub.

The Beach Club Collaroy is open from 10am-4pm Monday-Friday for Takeaway beer, cider and wine as well (prepackaged). ENTRY via the south side gate.

EXTRA INFORMATION:
- Usage of any kind of Bottle to fill up (but keep in mind to be reasonable).
- Growler size = Approxiamtely 2L
- Squeeler size = Approximately 1L

• Growler bottles on order to be sold when available, so bring your own containers

• 10 craft beers on tap approximately

• 6-8 standard beers eg Tooheys

• Blind buy, so no tastings

• A large Selection of cans for takeaway too

• Wine and ciders also available for takeaway

  wish i was even remotely in that area

  havent seen any of the craft places around Newcastle doing any of the crazy deals ive seen posted for places like sydney or brisbane

    Ive heard other people have used milk cartons at other places, could give it a shot here. Will fit the size of tap and give a measured result

    Local breweries will have some to buy.

    TBCC are also expecting a delivery of growlers (due today but hadn't turned up when I went for a fill at midday)

    You can get really nice stainless mini 2/4/8L keg setups on iKegger or eBay with taps and mini co2. Great for extending the life of the beer.

    Id say it expires when the kegs run out. I cannot guarantee stock levels for craft beers and i havent trued any of them but im assuming theyd have at least 2 kegs of each craft beer (approximately 100L of each).

    Still a stellar price for stone and wood, domestics and the swamp thang!
    You can try calling them or facebook messaging them before you go to check what they have available on tap.

        Open from 10-5 weekdays. No issues with stock levels.

    not that great at avoiding light strike/skunking though, so maybe transport them in a bag or something :)

  Hi all,

  Ok so here’s the run down. Went there this morning and fell in love. Huge list of craft beers on tap, about 10. Then about another 6-8 standard crud like Tooheys, etc.

  Massive can list also for takeaway. Really impressed with the selection. I’ll be going back weekly for the Squealers.

  They have been filling up sodastream bottles also. They don’t have any growlers yet but are on order so you need to take your own.

  Oh, also, sadly you can’t sample any before filling up so it’s a blind buy.

  Holgate Hazy just went on tap and the mountain goat DIPA is selling fast.

  They'll fill up any kind of bottle. Got 12 Kmart 1ltr bottles of the dipa. The dude even gave me a free milk crate for my trouble. Cheers bois

    How fast you intend on drinking it?
    It's definitely not going to keep well being that it's been decanted from a keg, and drinking 12 L of 8+% iipa over a week or so is definitely a challenge I would take up (and likely regret ;) )

  Personally, I think the mountain goat DIPA is not that nice compared to the Holgate Hazy
