OP, have you played all of these games? I've bought 0 and Kiwami, but only part way through 0. Wondering if it's worth buying all of these or only playing certain titles?
I've played through zero, 1 & just finished 2 last month
I've become a die hard fan after not liking the first game on ps2 on release (I wasn't ready for another gta style game after playing San Andreas) and not clicking with zero on release.
Decided to give it another go last year and now I'm hooked.
If you play through zero and really like it, you'll enjoy kiwami because it's the same engine and same battle system. Plus there's a cool side game play loop I won't spoil. Then part 2 switches up to the dragon engine which is such an update to world, the combat is different again too, so it's really refreshing.
Yet to play 3 or know much about it but I've sorta heard it's not as good as the previous ones.
So, if you're into the games, the first 3 are a must, otherwise play them as you go.
Definitely try 2 though, maybe even skip kiwami(watch story clips)
I still have yakuza on ps2… showing my age.
