I'm on the lookout for a solar system, and I've been quoted 16x330W Seraphim panels, and 5kW Solis inverter for $2800. That's all I pay, no loan repayments to Vic gov. Is that decent? I'm at 3805, Victoria.
Also, I'm also looking at possibly getting the 5kW Huawei hybrid inverter in case I want to install a battery in future. It is $3400 with the same panels as above. Thoughts on "future-proofing" with such inverter?

I've been quoted 21 x 315W Longi panels + 5kw Fronius inverter = 1000 (upfront) + 1888 (loan) or 2888 upfront.
I am also in 3805.
That's much cheaper than mine considering yours is a Fronius, and 21 panels. As the previous person mentioned, so cheap, should we be wary? Whereabouts did you get the quote?
Don't NSW and Vic governments give you a billion dollars for solar, that's why they are cheap?
Is your quote including the government rebate whatever the amount is these days?

Use the one of the quotes given to you at solarquotes.com.au to avoid being ripped off by some unscrupulous fly-by-nighter
Op, I wouldn't choose Solis. Would recommend, sungrow , Huawei . The price sounds reasonable. Will boil down to the installer as even a good head can be spoilt by a cowboy install .
