Is it good to buy during covid?

      huh?

      • Just curious because i am not going out anywhere at the moment

So whacky, shows as $6, but $15 when in cart, tried again and now $8.40…

  • Appears that its the same price at Coles at the moment.

  • It's not that it's cheaper it's the fact that the delivery guy delivers it to your front step instead of you breaking your back. Thankyou delivery guy

Basically the bargain is having a good back and not having to haul water to your home.

    • +1

It's not that i can't just walk to my kitchen and get a glass of water for free, but i better support amazon in this trying times.

instead of you breaking your back

What on earth are you on about?

Nobody walks a 24-pack of water bottles home from the supermarket.

If you're having back issues from lifting 13kg into a shopping cart, then into the boot of a car and then a few paces from the boot of your car into your home, squat and deadlift yourself silly for a few months and stop being an invalid.

      • Back pain is real. It's not a joke. That's why so many people at the gym have belts.

        • -3

          Back pain is real.

Yeah and it has an obvious cause too: lifting too much or terrible form. Hence why you start low and go slow to build your strength.

Moving a large, well-balanced 13kg load around is something every adult should be capable of doing well into their 50s.

@Gnostikos: If you want to lift weights and drinks around, that's your choice. I could've got it at my local supermarket for the same price or 5% cheaper but I chose to get it delivered to my front door. I sprained my back on a 20kg curl bar when I was capable of lifting much more. I've learnt to be more cautious and avoiding heavy things. Once damaged, it's never the same.

24+ more plastic bottles to landfill. Surely there's a more sustainable way of purchasing and consuming 'Spring' water

    • I reuse them

      • Bad idea to reuse cheap plastic. Better to invest on a steel bottle.

      • Yes, unfortunately they're designed to be one time use.

I believe that the grade of plastic used has been shown to leech chemicals, especially after exposure to heat.

    • There always is. Get it straight from Fiji https://www.fijiwater.com/ in your local Coles shop.

Or why this deal got plenty of votes, yet it comes all over from France https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/529030
It's not like Australia doesn't have means and facilities to make an ice cream but needs to get it from the other side of the world.

The virus will go away, but the same old will stay. This world needs the dinosaur disaster to wake up, that is until it falls asleep again.
