You normally can do it via turning it into developer mode. I did it onto my Sony Andriod TV a while ago. Worked like a charm!

Interesting site. Might dig around and see what secrets I can uncover…

  • In the market for a 40-50" TV for the kids room but not really knowledgeable enough to make the call between:

    Kogan - https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-50-4k-hdr-led-tv-series-8…
    TCL - https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/tcl-50-inches-p8m-uhd-android…

    Or the Hitachi above ?

Anyone have the Kogan and is happy with it ?

Mainly be used for Netflix, Youtube, Stan, XBOX, Switch, Chrome Cast etc.

    thnkx in advance.

    • Actually, this one appears to have excellent features - https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-43-smart-hdr-4k-led-tv-an…

      Although only 43"

Are the Kogan panels ok ?

I have p8m came from Sony.b very happy with it bang for buck. Sounds great and the picture quality is surprisingly very good as well.

      • there is a review on youtube having issues with out of sync audio to video on netflix, this sucks, he also said latest update too, i asked a few questions in the video comments and he said he recommends spending more.

May as well wait for Linsar brand, much cheaper, similar quality. No deal here

    • This is smart. Linsar is dumb.

      • Dumb is better than cheap smart. How many of us really use their TV's smart features anyway? I plug my Shield TV for that so a dumb TV is a plus.

        • +2

I agree with you. I have the $299 Linsar.

But you and me being smart chose dumb.

The reality is that the 99% dumb people out there choose smart.
