Im so sick of Groupons 'up to x% off deals'
If anyone finds anything worthwhile which is 30% (or maybe even >5%) off please post it as I have yet to find something which has this discount.

That being said the 15% cashrewards is decent.

  • by the way in this covid situation, anyone able to get full refund not groupon credit if you cant use the vouchers ie food, massage, sport, etc

    • Only if you asked for the refund in March.

    • I'm still on it, speaking to my bank as groupon won't refund.

      • Yep, you're within your right to do a charge back.

      • Yep they said to me these are your options can extend expiry date, or get credit. I said no want a refund and got it. This was in the early days, was corcerned so many businesses may not survive post Coronavirus..

no way they refund you. I bought one dine in restaurant voucher in January and they refused to give full refund, only credit voucher. Don't buy, some restaurants they advertised didn't open for weeks already. No takeaway.

    • They are. Just using customers funds as a free borrowing, highly unethical and even illegal Imo, as they are not providing any return to the customer

  • Some restaurants might go bust. Even so, I would not eat out for a while.

    • I’d be thinking that most will go bust.

  • Would contacting PayPal for dispute a good option when Groupon refused to refund?

    • No - they don't do vouchers. I tried.

  • No cash refund for Groupon restaurant vouchers. Did not give me the option to contact Paypal and forced to accept the Groupon bucks without my consent. Can't wait to quit Groupon asap.

Meanwhile they continue to display useless restaurant deals. Buyers beware!
