There is an NRMA members special at Secure Parking, where members pay a flat rate of $7 for weekend/evening parking at two CBD locations.

All you have to do is visit one of the above car parks and present your NRMA Member card at the car park's pay booth. You will automatically be eligible to receive the applicable discount.

There's also 10% off Casual Parking rates at:

  • 71 York St, Sydney CBD
  • Parkhouse - 187 Macquarie St, Sydney CBD
  • Atrium - 35 Pitt St, Sydney CBD
  • 55 Holt St, Surry Hills
  • 20 Berry St, North Sydney

This is not new promotion, but I've only just noticed it on the member benefits section of the NRMA website. I haven't tried it out myself yet.

    I think the last time I tried this at the York Street car park it was late at night so the cashiers had gone home So I ended up paying the full price at the automat. I did ask on entering if I could prepay, but the cashier said pay on departure. Sigh.

      Yeah it does sound like it will only work if there is a person at the pay booth. I wonder if the cashier hours are the same as the "Hours" stated for the carpark details page.

    I tried using this on Sunday night but when I looked up the carparks on the secure parking website, it said those 2 carparks close at 6pm =( Parked at 383 Kent St for $10 flat rate instead.

    It worked for me. I parked at Atrium on a sat night till 11pm. Got charged $7 by showing membership. Its always this price for members.
