Saw this in a catalogue when I was at the store this evening.

Hopped on the website and found it advertised there too.

I know that Dick Smith's and a few other places had it at $199, but I think this deserves a post for beating it by $1!!!

      Remember to order your new sony memory card as well as vita has zero onboard storage capacity and sony are forcing a new type of memory card upon users yet again. In Japan the new stick its being sold for $100 for 16gb, should be able to for one or two big games on rhett as vita games are around 8gb-12gb.
      Also might want some lube cos although 'most' major titles will be available on a game card from stores sony are not making it a necessity from third party publishers nor from their own line meaning that they get their wicked way with you yet again…
      As a former PSPGo owner I for one won't be touching the vita with a barge pole. The prices they charged for new games on the PSN was ridiculous, $20+ more than the australian store prices (which we know are overpriced to begin with)

    Good price but prefer the XL because 1) the 3d effect is not that great and 2) the beveled lower screen scratches the top one.

    $199 is actually the new RRP on these. Don't pay more for the 3DS. Retailers are calling it a sale price but it's not.
    Nintendo dropped the price about a month ago.

      Actually, $249.95 is the new RRP. They used to be $349.95. $199 is the new street price.

    Hmmmm I was thinking of getting one for when Monster Hunter 3G and Monster Hunter 4 comes out but that will take a long time and I'm sure it's going to come to PSVITA as well.
