      It depends on LED. I have same size flashlight with Luxeon LED from DX, it's very bright. But it costs 10 times more.

    Thanks samfisher5986. I've been buying the seemingly identical ones from Supacheap Auto for ten times the effective price! Even though the light is a little dim and bluish, and the included batteries only last about half as long as proper replacement 2016's, these are still a great bargain. If you really want an AMAZING buttoncell torch and are willing to go to the hassle of swapping the batts, Jaycar has one for about 8 bucks that has an incredibly bright and white Nichia LED. I have two and they are a genuine full-size torch replacement in most circumstances. Sam, if you find them anywhere at a 10 for 1 price, let us know!

      Dealextreme has in the past sold Nichia LED keychain lights, I can't view DX at the moment so I can't check if they still sell them.

      Also get all your button batteries from DX!

      From memory you can get a 20 pack for a few dollars…
