Inalto and Essato - Heat Pump Dryer

Hi,

Is anyone aware if Inalto and Essato are same but branded differently ?

I was looking at purchasing a heat pump dryer and came across these two which look exactly the same except for brand names? Essato has good reviews online .. Has anyone used one of these before and had good experience ?

Wow they look totally the same.

I have esatto heat pump purchased from appliancesonline and they've been great so far. I normally do near full load and it took around 2.5hrs on average. It does reverse tumble too which is nice (but would be better if it does more reverse tumble cycles)

All in all I'm happy. Be sure to check for coupon vouchers online. I got lucky and managed to reduce the price further by $20. Not much discount but it feeds my bargain loving soul.

Thats good to know, have been looking for a heat pump dryer under $800 and came accross these. The other brand is Beko which i am unsure of !

      • Beko rep here! Benefit to Beko is 5 years warranty.

If you're prepared to spend the money I would suggest https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/beko-bdp83hw-8kg-heat-pum… as it is what we call a hybrid, hybrid still has a element that you can select to use to help speed up the cycle a little bit while still holding a 5 star energy rating.

I can ensure you the two units you posted come out of the same factory.

        • Does the hybrid model mean its blows out some hot air?

          • @[Deactivated]: No it doesn’t blow out hot air. On a stand alone heat pump cycle it is rated at 7 stars. On the hybrid or RapidDry as it is called it introduces the heater during the dry cycle to aid in quicker dryer whilst still utilising the heat pump side of the dry so it doesn’t blow the hot air out like normal vented dryer.

            • @Capo93: How is the tumble action, I have tried to look up information on beko website and belive it doesnt rotate in full ..

              • @niish150887: What do you mean by it doesn’t rotate in full?

The machine does reverse tumble if that’s what you’re asking.

  • I also haved the Esatto. Had it for just over 12 months and it started making a noise like a bearing / belt issue. i rang esatto direct and they sent a repair man out and he replaced the unit with a brand new unit. All within a matter of days. Cant really say fairer than that. Only issue we have is the length of time it takes to dry clothes - family of 7 so dryer goes on twice a day.

    • family of 7

Did you get on to the recent condom bargain? :P

  • Model IHPD7 vs EHPD7. May be small differences but probably manufactured by the same group

  • Hi all, Residentia Rep here. Residentia distribute Esatto, InAlto, Mykin, TEKA and Elica brands here in Australia. The InAlto and Esatto Heat Pump Dryers are quite similar and come from the same production family. Both have 6 star energy ratings and reverse tumble.

You can find reviews on the EHPD7 dryer here- https://www.productreview.com.au/listings/esatto-ehpd7

    I hope that this helps.
