  • can we drop off a parcel at a hubbed location and to deliver to another hubbed location? will that work?
    Thanks

  • Is there a way to get premium for existing Sendle customers?

As a consumer, if I see you are using sendle as your delivery company I'm not purchasing from you. They're that bad.

    • if I see you are using sendle as your delivery company

Sendle is not a delivery company, they resell delivery services from actual delivery companies.

      • Like Aramex

  • Auspost charged me $23 for 3 bottles of wine. Small box, 3kg.

    This would be under $15?

  • New accounts only?
Will this work with existing accounts?

Better avoid sendle especially pick up service. Arranged two pick ups on the same day, courier didn’t scan it immediately ended up one lost in transit. Luckily i have video of courier picking up otherwise they said no record of it and will not allow me to claim compensation.

    THUMBS DOWN

It would be nice for AusPost to have some competition to kick them into shape, but Sendle isn't it. They are subcontractors who always use the cheapest crappiest couriers like Couriersplease and Aramex who are notoriously bad.

AusPost are overpriced but at least there's some level of accountability when things get messy which is still far more often than it should.

"They recently raised their prices, and now there isn't much difference compared to brand 3 Auspost. They also switched from Courise Please to Aramex for the same city, which is less reliable. I stopped using Sendle 2 months ago.

Premium doesn't exist anymore. They have a system where it depends on the number of parcels you send per month.

It's only for your 1st mth afaik, meaning useless after your 1st send.
It's their way of getting rid of all lifetime premium and above users. (me)

Yeah posted a parcel via Sendle at the start of this year from Metro Brisbane to Metro Perth - took over three weeks to get there. Pretty poor, haven't used Sendle since and haven't felt like the need to use them.

  • My experience with sendle hasn’t been too bad. Most the parcels I’ve received have been quick and handled well compared to my experience with Aramex. I paid $36 to post some wine and excess baggage I bought whilst up in Queensland back to Melbourne, took 7 working days which ended up being cheaper than buying checked in luggage, I guess it’s luck of the draw on who ends up taking the delivery.

  • Auspost is good when things gets lost. They usually just refund your postage and you don’t need to jump through a million hoops to get back value of the item up to $100. Sendle or courier please, u gotta submit a bunch of paperwork and they drag it out. Price wise with band 5 discount auspost is similar priced. For large bulk item to metro areas sendle which is courier please seems cheaper.

  • In WA, of the 4 times I've bought items shipped by Sendle, 3 were late, 2 were a couple of weeks late.

    • Once a parcel wasn't picked up for 4 weeks. Was on call to their support every day after the first week, where they said they would ensure someone came that day, for sure. I cancelled in the end and went to the post office.

Anyway, they either deliver or get aramex and don't.

I think 25% get picked up in day of booking, 30% the day after, 30% in the next 2 days after that, and the rest never picked up.

I recommend making multiple orders on the same street so it looks like they are coming to pick up multiple parcels. Helps a little.

Would never recommend sendle. Tried them through an ebay deal when selling a trading card. They entered the wrong details when weighing the parcel and i got charged a massive amount extra which ebay just took from my CC. Took a month to get the money back because i had trouble convincing the my parcel (1 pokemon card) didnt actually weigh like 10kg.

A year later i tried them again and they lost the parcel. Long process claiming for compensation. Still waiting .

    • Sendle have also lost about 3 parcels of mine, the final straw was when a sendle driver took a amazon parcel ($100 pc ram) from my door in addition to the parcel that I left at the door for pickup. Got video footage and photo, sendle refused to do anything.

  • I used Sendle a lot, to be fair, the price is very competitive, especially for large and heavy items and the service is reliable. I never lost any parcels, I always buy additional insurance for high value items. Even if they don’t have a customer support number to call, their online chat support service is quite efficient, the response is normally within an acceptable time frame. The only time I had a problem was when the driver didn’t show up to pick up my parcel and I had to cancel the booking to rebook for dropping off at their collection point, and the refund I got was only the delivery fee, the insurance charge didn’t get refunded. As it was only $2-$3, I didn’t bother messaging them. The parcel got delivered safely, I just assumed I paid extra for insurance. I will continue to use this service for the reasonable price.

  • I've had a Sendle Premium account for tears now but found Transdirect (transdirect.com.au) to I've cheaper (remember to sign up) and if using Aramex ($1500) or Couriers Please ($1000) you get much higher insurance coverage built in than Sendle.

  • These guys are never on-time and take a lot longer imo than AusPost in Sydney, use with caution is all

  • I already have a Sendle account, is there any way to make this work for existing customers or would I have to create a new Sendle account?

I also bank with NAB if that makes a difference.
