TV for Next Gen Consoles

Hey guys I feel like I’m flogging a dead horse here but having trouble finding the right tv.

I want to buy a tv for my bedroom to use for PlayStation but I want something that will look good with next gen systems.

I need to wall mount it on a arm to rotate it away from the wall so I’m not sure how big I can fit.

I was hoping for a cheap OLED but I don’t think they make them under 55”

What should I look for? My thoughts are just 4K and HDR and then google around the model to find out if they have input lag.

Anything else I need to consider for next gen consoles?

Any ideas on a specific tv would be good if something comes to mind.

    Next Gen will also support 120hz refresh rate.

    No budget TVs on the market have HDMI 2.1 right now so it's irrelevant what you get today really. Anything with 4K HDR is fine for budget range.

      How much will that restrict me?
      I’m assuming that I can’t have 4K @ 120hz so is there even a point in getting a 200hz tv now?

        Nope. Especially not for $1,000 budget. You'll get a basic Sony/LG or slightly better spec Hisense with Android.

      Was hoping around 1k, but I’ll dig around for something that supports 120hz and HDMI 2.1 as well now.
      I’ll prob have to buy a new TV arm cause this one came with house and I don’t know the size/weight allowed but frig a 55” TV would be massive in a bedroom especially mounted basically at the foot of the bed.

        For what it's worth - I currently have a 55inch TV at the foot of my bed on a low dresser, and the only comment from "visitors" I've had is that it made for a cinematic experience in the room.

          I don’t think I have a choice anyway as they seem to only make good tvs in that size. My problem was more that I need to mount it like this https://imgur.com/a/FYtmr7S

    If you're not going 120hz then you are wasting the biggest part of PS5 and Xbox Series X

    LG C9 I'm using it with my Xbox One x and cant complain, you can get it under $1900 now I guess
