Can't Cancel Woolworth's Delivery Unlimited online?

I signed up when the trial thing was announced. Never used it.

I actually thought I'd already cancelled it but today I received an email saying they're going to charge me on May 13th.

So I log into the Woolies site, go into My Account, go into Delivery Unlimited. It says my trial runs out on the 12th, they'll charge me on the 13th, lists my card as the payment method and… no cancel button. Turn off ublock origin and ghostery, Ctrl+F5 and still no cancel button. I checked every other section and found nothing relevant and that it wouldn't let me remove my card details from the payment methods while I was subscribed to Delivery Unlimited.

Fortunately a 5 minute phone call which was 4 minutes of menu and hold music later and it was cancelled.

So:

a) Anyone else have this problem?
b) Was I in the wrong section? If yes, just how much of a dummy am I?
and c) if you've got a trial end coming up maybe don't put it off if you're planning on cancelling.

    Scroll on down to "Manage Subscription"
    Click on that Panel.
    Select "CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION"

      That look right? Apart from the lack of Manage Subscription section?

      • I know it sounds typical, but have you tried a different browser or opening that page on your phone?

          I didn't and since I've cancelled it by phone the page no longer looks like this.

          • @DonWilson: Remember a thread somewhere where Kogan did the same to their subsciption service.
            Might be a new type of scam to prevent you from unsubscribing to get money rolling in.

              A lot of companies do it to force you to call so they can try and "save" you!!

  • -edit- nope, misread something. Edit removal!

  • Had a similar issue with their insurance. When it was due to renew there was no way to stop it other than by phone, and that required a long wait in their queue.

  • Couple months later, I'm experiencing the exact same issue, so it's not just you. Got it sorted in online chat, seems it did cancel correctly first time, but the website does a crap job at actually showing it.
