Personally I'd pay extra $100+shipping for the newer and massive upgrade of the new Ryzen 7 4800H, even though it comes with a GTX1660Ti (not too much inferior)

    • Definitely agree, the 4800H is miles ahead of the 3750H, and not to mention the 16GB of RAM that the 4800H laptops come with.

    • Anywhere you can preorder the Asus Zephyrus G14?

  • The screen does not look ideal IMO.

I bought the 3750H with 1660ti last week on eBay. Great lappy overall.
Couple of reviews online that said that the 3750 bottlenecks the 1660ti so imagine the 2060 gets hit even harder.

Im surprised they put those specs into this chassy. I got a lower spec one (3750H, 1650, 8GB, 512GB) for $1040. Its not bad by any means, just not amazing. Think finger prints, noise, light bleed and low battery life. Considering the laptop shortage, not an awful deal at all, but I would expect more for that price.

  • I have a weaker version of this. My fan runs loud at times even though nothing is on. Also, the touchpad sometimes can be unresponsive but a reboot fixes the issue.

    • tried a bios and driver update?

      • I’ll give it a try.

    • Have you tried clearing out the dust by vacuuming the air vents?

  • This has been a solid laptop for me so far. It meets military standard MIL-STD-810G, so it is a bit tougher supposedly. It runs Modern Warfare well. However, I think I got it for $1,599 from Centrecom when it was on sale once. I'll have to check.

    • Hey i am international student and my laptop now a days or moreover in the normal days too is always on as enjoyment and study is done on it only. My current laptop display is all almost gone and planning to buy the new asus tuf a15 the first model costs 1450 aud do you think this laptop builds quality is good and it will last a few years. Thinking that it will be on for whole day…. And i might plan to game too if i pick this. I was previously thinking of zenbook duo but people are not really happy with it on reddit they are all complaining about screenpad+ viewing angle plus cons

I'm not an expert, but I like it. It seems like a study build, but not impervious to damage. There are certainly better machines out there, but the RTX 2060 is hard to get at this price point.
