For 50 coins currently you need to defend for 8.3 hours, new system will be 25 hours, although if you hold for 27.5 hours you can now get 55 coins.
The new extra coins is if you complete a range of activities for a maximum extra 5 coins…
They love people who don't have day jobs and can just go out and do all these activities all day and every day. Gyms are the only action I can get quickly.
This is actually a huge nerf to gym defending.
Whilst i'm against the changes, hopefully it will get gyms changing hands more regularly.

I am guessing it has the broadest appeal as anyone with a phone can play. All age groups can play this game and it's free to play with no real need to pay unless you want to really fancy
