Tides of Time is a card drafting game for two players that takes place over three rounds. On your turn, choose one card from those in your hand, then pass your hand to your opponent. Each card is one of five suits and a scoring objective. Once all cards have been taken, players calculate their scores based on the cards drafted. Between rounds, you will choose one card to keep for future rounds, and one card to remove from the game. After three rounds the player with the most points wins!

This is a long-awaited digital adaptation of the card game from Kristian Čurla and Portal Games. With this version, you can challenge your friends with pass-and-play or compete against one of the three levels of AI. Unique challenges are also included to keep you on your toes!

    The developer, Portal Games, made a game called Neuroshima Hex which I loved. I’m downloading this game based on my experience with that game.

      One of the reviews of Tides of Time mentions Neuroshima Hex:

      Decent game that should appeal to someone who would like a simplified version of 7 wonders. Unfortunately I can't give it the deserved rating because the developers abandoned their other board-game adaptation (Neuroshima Hex) leaving buyers out in the cold with a game that does not work anymore.

        Fair enough. That wasn’t me experience. While I was playing the game, a few years ago, they released new content which was purchasable. I wasn’t trying suggest anyone should buy that game but it was good enough to get me interested in this free game.

        Neuroshima Hex still works for me under the current iOS. - It has not been updated for a few years, but it still works.
