This game never released physically here in Australia. On the eshop it has an RRP of $60. Cheapest it has been is $39.99

This is a space-shooter/roguelite meaning if you die, you start again from the beginning, but can upgrade some parts of your ship and some mechanics permanently to make subsequent quests a little easier

        Change the controller layout to layout 3 and you'll find it's much easier and enjoyable.

  I've put 50+ hours into Everspace on Steam it's really good! More into Star Citizen now though.

        Playable but complete-ish?

        I dumped something like over US$100 at kickstarter and bought a few ships but haven't been back to it.

        EDIT: Just checked and it's still alpha version. I paid back in Sept 2013(!). Hopefully it's available for Beta by year 10 of development.

          @Porker: COVID has slowed development but they're already working on the second galaxy. The tech including fancy jump gates to Pyro are pretty much near complete now. They're just finishing off the last of the microtech star system which is amazing already.

          Latest major update added a massive underground prison where you go after a being captured by bounty hunters, NPCs or death with a crimestat. You can wait X amount of time (e.g. 10 minutes or 10 hours depending on sentence), hand mine rocks for a reduced sentence or even navigate the caves to escape to the surface. Weather, temperatures and hunger/thirst was also added.

          Still a long way to go but 2019 added a heap of new stuff.

              @Porker: Depending on what they are a lot of them could be worth a lot of money. There is a big grey market of selling ships and upgrades.

  Ordered this on Amazon on 28th April and it hasn't been dispatched yet (but I was aware of the long lag time as expected delivery is late May)
