Can honestly say that I've never seen/heard of a Hyundai TV

    • Hhahahaha. Same. Was confused. But I guess it’s a thing now.

Sounds like you need some new thinking, new possibilities.

    • They were sold here a long time ago. With TVs now the brand on the box means SFA most of the time.

  • +2

I thought it is a Hyundai 55" wheels car …

    • -4

      Why would it be?

  • +14

    7 years warranty?

    • -2

No I believe it is only 1 year warranty

      • +8

        Woosh

    • That'll depend on the log book

  • +11

Does this require a service every 10,000km?

Depends who is driving the remote.

    • -2

Since when was that a thing?

Samsung motors was originally established in 1994, company began to sell the cars in 1998.. Some portion if not all of Renualt koleos has been manufactured in Samsung motors' factory in South Korea.

Hyundai, Samsung, LG, Hanhwa are really big in South Korea, Hyundai build Ship and their built quality is world class. Search on wikipedia. Hope i answered the query.

        • Didn't know Hyundai build ships but I saw a video a few years back on the Discovery (or National Geography) channel that Samsung does build ships, especially the oil ships and in fact it owns the biggest market in that industry.

    • Samsung has been built cars more than 15 years in South Korea
      SM3 SM5 SM7 and few of SUV.

  • +1

It's an 'in-dash display' upgrade unit. Never miss a turn again.

  • I'm a bit weirded out that there's a (disabled) preloaded username and password on the commercial site when I didn't even know the site existed. Did this happen for anyone else?

    • Are you using Chrome and are you on a corporate or shared network? I've seen this happen and it's freaked me out enough to never use Chrome for anything important (in case my credentials are getting put in other users devices).

Is virtually every joke going over Megaserve's head?

    • +10

I think his joke is going over yours.

    • He must be the life of the (Zoom) party…

    • +2

I think calling them jokes is charitable.

      • +3

It's OzB, most jokes are from bargain bin

  • I wonder if this is the same company making hynex ram memory.

    • +1

It's a subsidiary of their company. SK Group, also more well known as SK Hynix. The name Hynix is a contraction of (Hy\undai Electr nics)

  • Looks to be an Indian brand (Videocon), rebadged as Hyundai. Could be wrong.

  • Cars 5 years or 100,000km warranty,

    TV 1 year warranty.

    hmmm.

  • Does it have day running lights?

  • Is it possible to make free The Good Guys Commercial account?

    • I have tried for hours. The cheapest way is to join a union (pay the cheapest tax deductible fee), create an account on union shopper, then create a GG commercial account. Cancel your union membership.

    • +3

Sign up to sun super - it’s free. Get Sun account and apply for GG Commercial under perks.

  • Is the price drive away?

  • roadside assistance?

  • Thanks, bought 4.

    That's a pretty cheap 100" 8K TV.

    • You mean 4k?

      • +1

        If you buy 4 and stack them 2 high, that’s 100” and 8K… :)

  • +1

    Waiting for 2021 i30 with 50" infotainment.

  • Bought one. Tilting wall mount was $20 (down from $90). Interested to see the quality.

  • +4

Picked one up today and I'm very happy with it. It boots up in a few seconds, the interface is snappy and the picture quality is excellent. Apps open quickly and the TV's WiFi is good. Even has bluetooth. This telly is a bargain. Some pics here -> https://imgur.com/a/77XDNhx

    • I placed an order at 4pm and have been charged. Hopefully my order won’t get cancelled and refunded.

      • I don't see why they would cancel your order. Looks like you may have got the last one because it's gone from the commercial site and the regular site.

        • They had plenty of stock in multiple stores when I called them this afternoon, so I’m guessing they had a large order or it was a price error.

          • @DryScissors: There's a verb for that.

I'm guessing my deal has been OzBargained before I even ordered one! Haha!

            • @prkr: When I was at the warehouse loading bay, I saw about 6 on the shelf. I was also able to transfer my order to another store without hassle, and without a physical store transfer.

    • Have you been able to get Bluetooth working?

      • Unfortunately not, it gets stuck in the "scanning for devices" phase. The TV doesn't show up in my phone's Bluetooth device list either when Bluetooth is enabled on the telly. Frustrating.

        • Got my Bluedio T2 headphones working with it, just not my AirPods.

    • +1

8ms response if this listing is anything to go by. Has the same specs.
