  • the second screen gimmick or useful

    • Also wondering is it a difference system running on the screenpad ?

      • It's just a second screen.

        • The second screen looks like have some icons on it. Look like a difference system.

@superforever: From the YouTube videos I have seen it's just running Asus software overlay but it also runs windows based software.

None of the reviews state it is running a different operating system.

    • IT is useful for graphic designer, video editor and developer. For normal user, it is of no use.

I have a UXA481 Zenbook Duo and love my 2nd screen

ASUS ZenBook UX534 15" FHD, Royal BLYE, UX534FTC-A8121T - how's this laptop with light gaming (LoL, CS, GTA?) and running adobe lightroom for photo editing?

    • With its graphic, it's capable of running AAA titles 1080p at medium to high graphic settings.

    • +1

This website gives you an idea of the gaming performance of the laptop GTX 1650 that is used in the ASUS. Scroll down to get actual framerates in games achieved by laptops with the same GPU https://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-1650-Laptop…

In summary it should be totally fine for all those tasks. Should be able to run CS GO at 1080p ultra easily and GTA V 1080p at high to ultra settings for example

The specs of the 1650 inside this device that you posted are incorrect. It's the 1650 Max-Q, which is a slower variant than the 1650 Notebookcheck link you posted. Not sure if the it's worth purchasing considering that the new AMD Ryzen 4000 mobile CPUs blow the Intel 10th gen out of water in terms of CPU performance.

        • Quite dishonest in the Amazon listing then as they don't even mention MaxQ in the small print or details section (you have to properly lookup the model on the Asus website to get that real info). Most sellers clearly state when they are selling the MaxQ version which is often substantially different in performance.

Here is the Max Q link https://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-1650-Max-Q-…

Main post should now be updated with this info that it's a MaxQ variant

  • Note the 1650 is Max-Q variant in the 15"

  • Wanna upgrade from my UX391UA - can these charge via thunderbolt/type C ?

  • The UX462 is showing as $1899 for me. How did you get it at $1519.20? Or has the price increased?
