Digital Combat Simulator World (DCS World) 2.5 is a free-to-play digital battlefield game and simulation environment. Our dream is to offer the most authentic and realistic simulation of military aircraft, tanks, ground vehicles and ships possible. This free download includes a vast mission area of the Caucasus region and Black Sea that encompasses much of Georgia. It also includes a flyable Russian Sukhoi Su-25T ground attack aircraft and the famous WWII North American TF-51D fighter. An additional 25 aircraft are available for purchase.

Discount excludes: F-14, AJS-37 and Super Carrier.

  Just a warning to those new to combat simulators, this game (simulator) has a steep learning curve but is the closest thing us civilians will come to
  flying $20M jets.

  I recommend using their own installer from their own website, some modules don't work on Steam. Also any purchase done in Steam can be transfer to your DCS account so you can still buy it on Steam.

  Also note that almost every single module is currently free to try until the 19th of May.

  The other day I spent like 1 hour learning how to do a cold start of the F-18 in the carrier. From stationary, starting the battery, the engines, calibrating stuff, closing canopy, requesting clearance, unfolding wings, taxing to catapult to take off… I have no idea why I enjoyed that so much, was not even flying.

  Agree - go straight to dcs not via steam.

  Also there is an additional 10% when going direct to eagle dynamics (so 55% discount total)

    Just checked the prices — the currency conversion of modules in Steam works out to be cheaper than DCS even with the mover coupon code.
    So will go with Steam first then transfer it to DCS I guess
