  • OP, have you tried it? Changed store to Ukrainian, paid, and then back?

    • You will need to contact the customer support to get back to Australia Region.

      • You have to contact them to change it to Ukraine too

  • How much salo does it require?

  • +22

If you've got to fudge the system so much that customer support is required to go to and from the selected region for your account to get this price, it's no deal

    • +2

It should probably be marked unobtainable really.

      • except it is attainable. i have a second account on steam to buy games with chinese currency, everythings generally half price

how come mods allow blatant circumvention of ToS, but dont allow discussion of piracy? just saying..may as well get the game from elsewhere if you're not willing to pay a fair price.

    • +6

I guess its because piracy is a criminal matter.

Breaking ToS is a civil matter and ToS aren't necessarily legally enforceable.

      • +1

that makes sense. mods often remove deals because of threats of civil action. not always, but it still happens.

        • Online purchasing has exploded over the last 5-10 years, and shoppers have become a lot more savvy. I think the difficulty in finding a genuine bargian these days reflects that.

If this site allowed genuine bargains only there would be only a handful of posts a day.

As a user experience I find it frustrating that certain posters are allowed to post the most obscure games as 'deals' multiple times a day and can't even limit themselves to posting a combined list once a day.

Anyway…Ignoring my rant, I Imagine gaming platforms wouldn't be pleased with deal sites like these advocating for the circumvention of TOS

  • This post aint epic OP

    • +2

some would even say that it's an "Epic Fail" ;)

  • Violating the EULA and having your purchase potentially revoked isn’t a bargain.

  • +5

There was me thinking paying $30 for this yesterday was a bad move, until I realised the crap you have to get through to get this "deal". Happily pay $30 to then not have to waste so much time with customer service.

    • +2

Yeah, agreed. I grabbed it for $30 too and would rather do it legit than jump thru hoops like this.

  • is Ukraine and Russian practically the same pricing?

  • +1

you can't pay by card if you aren't living in there, you need to have a Ukrainian bank card for purchases.

  • Egad! If someone's gonna go with this much shite just to get a discount, might as well just torrent these damn games.

Are bunch of OzBargainers mostly masochists? Will almost do anything for the pursuit of getting things cheaply?

    Just wonderin'.
