Recommend a curved screen for work

Plan to upgrade my 23 inch monitor by a curved screen. (Size of 2 screens for productivity)

Mainly used for home office, (open 2 windows side by side), also watch Netflix, no gaming needs.

As cheap as possible (<800), and prefer not to buy Kogan brand etc.. They usually make spec nice and of poor quality.

I like DELL but they are too expensive.

  • At that price you probably won't get bigger than a 34. I had one but it wasn't quite big enough so ditched it for a 38 inch LG on release day.

    • How big of difference is there between 32 and 38 inch

    • Out of curiosity, which model did you get and how are you finding it?

  • +1

There is a heavily discounted 32" Samsung here, I think he only wants $250 for it.

  • I’ve been after one as well, don’t think nows a good time to buy as there are no good discounts during iso when everyone is after one

So unless you need one desperately i’d wait a couple of months

    • Good point, after the covid is over, hope to see demand to fall and therefore more discount on the monitors.

  • One that doesnt go all the way around.

  • 34" 3440x1440 monitor is probably your best bet for side-by-side productivity. <$800 is tough right now but these are in the $800-900 range:

    MSI MAG341CQ - http://staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=MAG341CQ&spos=1
    Samsung LC34H892WGEXXY - https://www.megabuy.com.au/samsung-lc34h892wgexxy-34-inch-21…
    Acer XR342CK - https://www.pccasegear.com/products/37802/acer-xr342ck-uwqhd…

    • Samsung LC34H892WGEXXY

I got one of these and love it. It's excellent for 2 docs side by side - I'm currently using it with 2 computers plugged in side by side as 2x 1720x1440 screens.

Recently got PowerToys as a windows manager to see how that goes for window snapping etc

    • Great, thank you!
So the WHD is what I should after. There are lots $400 range 32 inch monitors which I find they all only has got 1080p

  • Check out this seller's eBay store for some great deals.
I bought a 27" factory second Samsung with a line on the screen for less than $200 but he also has some others.
