    Actually, germicidal irradiation is good new tech. Hospitals use it. Without people present, of-course, since it's dangerous to living organisms. Of-course, this doesn't stop companies making hand held units and other types with no safety precautions mentioned.

      Then we wouldn't need junks like this adding to our landfill.

        No need to take my comment personally. Just trying to educate you on the good qualities of germicidal irradiation. As for frequent campaigns… there will always be pigs in the world. Re/ landfill, I would guess you have other less desirable appliances in your home.

          I can agree germicidal irradiation has its place, but we don't need this on a consumer level. This is just another overpriced garbage we do not need.
