Low Fee / $0 Credit Card Options That Still Earn Some Points

I'm a bit out of the credit card game and COVID has also changed possible criteria for lending and new deals coming out. I'm looking to downsize my last credit card to something with low or $0 fee that can still earn points on daily transaction. QFF/Generic/Virgin (if that's even being allowed)

I won't have enough to spend to get bonuses unless it's a super low bonus. I'm on ANZ FF Black so can't cycle to anything ANZ rewards. Recently closed my AMEX as well. Is there anything on the market that still meets my needs?

    Kogan Money CC

  • No one's issuing any credit cards that earn Velocity points at the moment

  • AMEX? Discovery Card $0 Annual Fee

    • They might want to wait the 18 month period though for bonus points offers as they said they recently closed their Amex

    • Not a good option is its not widely acepted and the credit card charges are much higher!

Most major stores like Coles, Woolies, Kmart (not JB Hi-Fi) accept Amex with no surcharge. That's why you also have a Visa/Mastercard for when it's not viable to use Amex.

  • $0 fee that can still earn points on daily transaction

Yeah not really too many of them around, so its thin pickings.

  • kogan is the best here 1c per dollar spent
    no fees
service non existent but most of it can be done through the app..

    • This may have better customer service than Kogan one, but the backend support is the same one, Citigroup. It is less rewarding than Kogan one.
