I think you should fix the title because it implies that the Galaxy SII is price of the Xoom.

Also, just out of curiosity, why is shipping twice as expensive for Galaxy SII compared to Xoom?

    • +1

Because we have cut the shipping fee for Xoom.

      • Still thats really expensive shipping. Is it shipping from Australia or from overseas (Hong Kong etc)? And is insurance included?

I was about to ask the same question too.
But I guess it's price adjustment? An illusion of lower price for the main unit? This tactic never works on OzB

no problem - think I had 2 screens open and didn't realise the update on the newer version. All good.

  • Xoom - Good price basically matches http://www.portagadgets.com/australia/product.php?productid=… (from China) It comes with a china power plug though (mine arrived today). Is this one shipped with an australian plug or an adapter or will we need to buy one of those as well? Looking at another one for my father.

    • i assume it has the china plug too, well you can get the au cable plug and socket from dick smith for about $12

  • is Kogan tablet good?

    • +13

Kogan tablet has many uses -
      - chopping board
      - clipboard (without the clip)
      - small Stable Table (without the cushion)
      - serving tray for finger food

    • We haven't listed the 3G version on our site but I will let you know when it is up.

  • Gets my vote but I will wait for the 3G version

  • Be carefull people this company is notorious for bait and switch and NO customer service …. they never reply to emails Ask the rep if the items come with Australia certified Atick chargers and are NOT full import with NO local warranty
