I'm still working on the last case of the Vale IPA I bought recently but it's too good to pass up at this price so I bought another.

When did it die ?
Looks like they are now owned by Asahi.
Interested to see if it has impacted the flavour at all, as often happens when the big boys buy out and go into mass scale production of craft brews.
It was sold by original owners to Bickford’s Group in 2017.

In a quick search couldn't find anything about a sale to Asahi. Although, Asahi has been buying up craft breweries here for years & just bought CUB.
Since when is CUB a craft brewery?
CUB acquired craft brewers, so those are now under control of Asahi.

I bought a case of the IPA recently and was disappointed. When I first drank it some years ago, it was like biting into a grapefruit. More recently it was…okay…but seemed to be watered down in flavour.
My mistake.
Thought I had read that Asahi had bought them up in its recent acquistions spree, but can't find any reference to that now.
Ordered the Ale and IPA, so will be interested how they stand up today, although has probably been a few years since I last had either.
Can never be sure how up-to-date web pages are but if you are to believe theirs, it says

Was super keen on the Vale IPA, but wants to charge me $16 for Sydney metro delivery!
Sure you didn't put 2 in the cart as it is $8 per case - I checked to see that?
Dan Murphys has an offer at the moment with $57.99 for 24 pack of the tropic ale so about the same as Sippify with shipping fees depending on your location.
I'm in SA and know that Dan's pricing varies by location too so YMMV.

I loaded up my cart on Sippify a couple of weeks ago and after not purchasing, a few days later they sent me a discount code for a further 10% off. I was hoping to stack this deal with that but the code expired two days ago :( $58 delivered in Adelaide isn't a better deal for me than picking it up from Booze Brothers on special for $50 (currently $56.99 there for Pale and Tropical). I love the taste of both the Pale and Tropical though.
I must be doing something wrong because when I click on the deal link nothing on the page is $50… is there a code or something?
