With the success of Lego Masters and the suckiness of Lockdown, the demands on Lego stock must be insane.
Do you reckon there will be a lot of cheap second hand sets in 1-2 years? I'm hoping patience will pay off.
@iwatchfatpplsleep: Very few people other than collectors will keep "sets" - especially if kids get anywhere near them (as if they are like… toys or something). The secondary market consists largely of bulk lots sold by the kg, so no, patience generally doesn't pay off with Lego.
But all power to you if you manage to spot a bargain. Just telling you from experience they're pretty rare/hard to come by.
@zzyss: Well I did mean bulk lots. I'd imagine you'd have a pretty good idea what sets would be included just from a look based on piece colour and any special prints. I haven't don't it but I imagine it would be fun to go get 10kgs of Lego and try to figure out what sets are in there and build them.
