Good deal on this.
Only limited stock available at TGG. I had no issues price matching at Officeworks though.

TGG and Amazon also have the separate Chime module cheap too $51.15.

  • Anyone with experience of these? Does it work with just your phone or do you need something else?

    • +1

Works with your phone only. You'll need to get the chime as well if you want it to work as a ye olde doorbell.

Ah no video unless you have an Arlo camera nevermind….

That's ridiculous. And I have the Arlo Pro system. $79 for a button??

    Netgear Arlo Audio Doorbell $79

    I've never had a doorbell without audio…

It’s “as opposed to their video model”
It’s a pretty good deal for this model - $129 at JB atm.

Does this require a subscription to listen to past detections of button being pressed?

  • Do we need to go into Officeworks to get a price match or can it be done via their website/over the phone?

    • Over the phone is fine

    • OW price beat over the phone… You then decide if you want to click and collect or have it delivered.

I’m failing to see the allure of this?

    • If you’ve got older first gen arlo cameras (non-pro) they didn’t have audio, let alone two way audio. So you could repurpose one of those as the video part of the doorbell and use this for audio. Otherwise, yes, it’s not compelling.

  • Do you have to wait 90 seconds for the audio to come through?

    • Postie would have already left a card and gone up the street by then

  • I need a doorbell.
But the reviews for this one are underwhelming.

    • No video. Useless!

  • $80 for an IoT button… brilliant.
