The first two are cheaper at JB at the moment with their 15% off sale.

    • how much are they at JB?

      • I closed the window, but just go to the JB website and take 15% of the listed prices.

        • got it, 1526 for 7D and 2459 for 5DII

  • Can you post the direct link to the 600d body only? Can't seem to find it at this price

      Doesn't exist yet does it?

      • It's not out yet. Rumoured to be Q1 2012.

the point is that camerapro are selling australian stock; DDP sell imports.

personally i'd buy from DDP anyway (they're just down the road from me) but some people do value genuine local stock

It never ceases to amaze me that when Aus. stock gets posted here, people immediately respond with grey prices, while making no effort to note that they're grey prices.

    5d MK2 Body cheaper at d-d: http://www.d-d-photographics.com.au/products/Canon-5D-Mark-I…

in fact most of them are: http://www.d-d-photographics.com.au/categories/Digital-SLR/C…

and d-d have a shopfront in north sydney.

      grey

so what, it's exactly the same camera from the same factory….

it depends how much you value a manufacturer's warranty over a 3rd party warranty… after the warranty period, it doesn't make a difference…

with the links above though, after you add postage, JB appear cheaper…

    • If youre going to buy grey, might aswell buy from DWI. They have a call centre in Aus and 3rd party warranty centre in AUS. Prices are 50% lower than AU stock aswell.

Cheapest grey imports out…. maybe some in eBay but i havent checked

5DII- $2449 ????? just add a little bit and get Nikon D700 @ 2,900.00. Very cool. Nikon better than Canon!

  • I bought this 5DII for $2750 with GST almost 2 years ago. How is this camera still hold its price - amazing.

    <hugz my 5DII …>

    • <hugz my 5DII …>

You could poke an eye out with that zoom lens.

  • Anyone heard of these guys? 5DII for $1449 + shipping!!!

edit - never mind. Just read some reviews. They are dodgy as hell.

  • I really need an upgrade but can't justify dropping that amount when I just KNOW the MKIII will drop in the next few months. There's been quite of hub bub in the industry that Canon are about to unveil a new stand alone video system as well as the MKIII that will (allegedly) have better audio capabilites and higher quality video (ie. none of the tearing present now on panning/movement)

  • doh.. dup

  • any deals on the newly released S100?
